ETF Partners named Clean Tech Investor of the Year
On Friday 2nd of December, the UK's clean tech sector gathered at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in central London for the annual BusinessGreen Technology Awards. The awards ceremony brought together some of the most exciting and inspiring companies operating in the UK clean tech space.
ETF Partners won the coveted Clean Tech Investor of the Year with the jury impressed by investments across their range of investments in high quality entrepreneurial companies spanning multiple sectors and types of technology – all with the potential to make a huge sustainability impact.
Judges included representatives from the Confederation of British Industry, Innovate UK, Forum for the Future and Tech UK.
Patrick Sheehan, Managing Partner, ETF Partners said “We’re delighted to pick up this award, particularly from such a knowledgeable panel of judges. It’s another endorsement of our optimistic approach to tackling big sustainability challenges by putting institutional capital and expertise to work in innovative, growth companies. In July this year we announced the sale of one of our business – Enablon – which at €250 million is one of the largest venture exits of 2015. Sustainability through innovation really is paying dividends.”
